We’ve been tracking the torrent of GTA 6 footage that appeared online this summer, and today there’s a potentially pivotal update: the leaker known as Cyberleek has posted what they say is a final video and has signalled the end of their campaign of uploads — if you take their message at face value.
What Was Reported
Per Eurogamer, Cyberleek released a new, seemingly final video that allegedly shows parts of GTA 6’s ending. The clip runs about four minutes and culminates in a montage of locations and flyover city footage set to Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’.”
However, Eurogamer reports that the footage “is not as dramatic as Cyberleek initially made it out to be” and that it “does not appear to be of the game's ending sequence or final cutscene,” though the location shown could itself be a spoiler if viewed without context.
Cyberleek also reportedly posted a message on their website saying: “The 30m was not reached, so no build.” The leaker had previously tied certain leak promises to the market cap of a memecoin they were promoting — including a pledged dump of a “200+ GB” build if the coin hit a $30m market cap — and now appears to be stepping back after that milestone was not met.
Eurogamer notes the coin’s market cap recently peaked at $7.8m before crashing to $1.2m three days later, and that the token’s big bump coincided with earlier leaked footage showing co-protagonists Lucia and Jason nude. If true, this latest clip may mark a pause in the saga rather than a definitive ending.
The Source & Credibility
We’re calling out the provenance and credibility here because it matters. Eurogamer says it has viewed the latest footage and finds it underwhelming compared to the leaker’s claims. That mismatch matters: Cyberleek has repeatedly made dramatic promises tied to their memecoin, including the claim they’d release a playable build if the coin hit $30m — a claim we previously covered in our piece Rumour: GTA 6 Leaker Says He’ll Dump A Playable Build If Coin Hits $30M.
In addition, Eurogamer reports that Cyberleek reappeared after a period of silence following their initial August uploads, which reportedly prompted a major response from publisher Take-Two. Per Eurogamer, Take-Two initiated a large investigation and issued subpoenas to Discord and Microsoft in the hunt for the leaker — a development we examined in our reporting on Report: Take-Two Subpoenas Microsoft And Discord In Hunt For GTA 6 Leaker.
Take this with a pinch of salt: the leaker’s stated motivation — to pump a memecoin tied to their uploads — and their public admission that the fundraising target “was not reached” undercuts their previous incentive structure. For context on the leaker’s pattern of NSFW footage drops, remember our coverage of earlier nude leaks such as Leaked GTA 6 Footage Allegedly Shows Nude Lucia Roaming Vice City.
What It Could Mean
If the footage is genuine and the leaker is stepping back, this could represent a temporary close to a months-long wave of unauthorised dumps. But there are several caveats:
- Per Eurogamer, the latest clip may not actually show the final cutscene or ending sequence even if Cyberleek framed it that way — the location could be a spoil, but context is lacking.
- The leaker’s stated motivation tied to a memecoin fell far short of its $30m goal, which Cyberleek says justified not uploading the promised build; that financial failure could mean the leaks stop for now, rather than permanently.
- Take-Two’s investigation activity — including subpoenas — may have influenced the leaker’s behaviour, but nothing in the reporting confirms a legal resolution or capture of the source.
So, if true, we might be seeing a lull driven by failed fundraising and legal pressure rather than a guarantee of safety for untouched spoilers.
Why This Matters
This saga impacts both how publishers protect in-development projects and how fans experience major game launches. Per Eurogamer, GTA 6’s official launch on 19th November is “not far off,” which narrows the window in which leaks can meaningfully alter first impressions. If Cyberleek really is pausing now that their memecoin target “was not reached,” that may preserve some surprises for players — for now.
We’ll keep following this closely. Expect further updates if Cyberleek resurfaces, if more footage appears, or if Take-Two’s investigation yields public results. For ongoing context on the leak trail and the leaker’s tactics, see our earlier coverage cited above.
