HERE’S ONE OF THE FIRST CONCEPT ART FOR DEADPOOL MOVIE

Through his ArtStation’s PortfolioJoshua James Shaw posted an early concept art of the successful Deadpool, the movie come to our theatres during this month. The Concept Designer revealed this first image was done on 2011, when the director Tim Miller was just hired by 20th Century Fox and Marvel Entertainment. The concept was made using a previous promo photo of X-Men Origins: Wolverine (where Deadpool character appears for the first time on screens), suiting the actor Ryan Reynolds with the “Merc with a Mouth” costume. Joshua believes that Miller used this concept for one of his initial pitch packages.

Deadpool’s Synopsis:
Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
